This year, one of my consultancy missions is to be an Agent for the Swedish/Nordica Markets when it comes to the representation of the economie06 event. My main occupation, besides constant feedback to get the event to be at its best with creative suggestions, is to recruit Sponsors, Exhibitors, Delegates and other main Stakeholders for what seems to develop into one of the Main International Events in its area.
So what is that - and this?
It is an event related to the SRI/CR - Socially Responsible Investment/Corporate Responsibility, where the Investment Management/Financial market issue concerning Socially Responsible Investment and its links to Corporate Responsibility upgrades its professionalism.
At the Financial Hub of Zürich, October 9-10, 2006, internationally well-known keynotes will make the general attraction, and the sweet, warm, inspiring and cool memorable moments among participants I am convinced will come from their interaction. We have a veeery interesting educational initiative - financial advisory planners can get a Kitemark Exam/Certification to be added to your letters behind your name as a professional SRI financial advisory.
Main mission in this context for my part is to strengthen the position and awareness one of, to my meaning, the most proactive responsibility taking functions both as an investor and/or a business person - to fund and/or conduct sustainopreneurial ventures. I want to popularize the associated term Sustainability Venture Capital - "SVC". There is a Master Thesis in this subject, partly guided by Kai Hockerts, who also has published the earlier mentioned PhD dissertation in the area of Sustainability Entrepreneurship.
"Toward sustainability venture capital: how venture capitalists can realise benefits from investing in sustainability-oriented start-up businesses", Jelena Randjelovic, Lund University, 2001
Profiles of the teambehind the event is found here, and my contextualized profile is here.
I also established a complimentary Lens for the area of SRI, where I have collected a BookRoll and some links from some of the keynotes, including Noreena Hertz, John Renesh and Amy Domini.
