Now! Breaking the silence dominating the last months on this blog - with a graph illustrating that things have developed elsewhere than at this space and in this stream.This is the number of views the Wikipedia article on Sustainopreneurship has received since last time I blogged here! Breaking the 1000 views a month barrier in February, time to shake things alive again here!
I am now slowly getting back and preparing the systematic book writing, where it will be written in chunky drafts ~400 words a post. At the same time, I will start a 100 day effort to apply 'be careful with what you want - you might get it' on Monday, 9th of March, 2009, at 9am CET. Included in this 100 day effort is also to upgrade and put energy for a systematic effort for the "1Mcc"-tagged conceptual campaign: "Sustainopreneurship 1MillionHits on Google" » http://1mcc.info. Book Writing and Conceptual Campaigning - in parallel. Cross-nurturing each other.
During the silence, one of the main activities has actually been an effort to pick up energy on another blogging format. The microblog. In mid-january, I enhanced my twitter background to give it more specific identity and communication, and also started to use Tweetdeck making it far more manageable. After an effort to enhance my tweeting activity, I moved fast from the occasional tweeter to have regular 1x1 authentic conversations with a significant increase in @replies and DM's - to actually engage in my network in twitter. I wrote an article for Urban Lifestyle Report - New Media published in end of January focusing twitter use for marketing and PR (added with an extensive list of Twitter resources), and also became a local host for the Twestival here in Norrköping in February 12 as a natural follow up for that activity (that rendered some regional media coverage as well).
In the core of the stronger twitter identity (with the customized background being a key element) is the Wikipedia Article on Sustainopreneurship I started at October 17, 2008 - it's the first impression (besides my personal quote with illustrated vision of heaven and dream, and the 'state of the world' summary header) on my Twitter profile. With the recent microblogging frenzy and growth, Twitter is easily on the move to be the strongest reflection of your online identity, a counterpart to the business card offline.Thus, the upgrade of this presence.
Collecting some stat results of this effort;
@sliceonline stats:
- Tweeting frequency (through TweetStats);
- Number of followers development (through TwitterCounter);
This has rendered a Twitter Grade 96.3 of 100. As you see, one more follower was added during stats capture process writing up this blog :).
If we compare this to the number of times the Sustainopreneurship article on Wikipedia has been viewed as seen on the graph above, I guess there is a correlation in between this increase in tweet updates and followers, and numbers of hits on the Wikipedia article.
In a series of posts I will blog about the conceptual diffusion of Sustainopreneurship, as traced by Google, with some points where it have moved in different media and formats, in various contexts. Next time - the blogosphere!
