Another very late-coming posting:
The campaign I Do Trance [Not Drugs] that I am the National Coordinator of here in Sweden and was initiated by me, was awarded the Good Deed Award by the DANSManiFEST Event that was at Sergels Torg. Thank you David Wätte and friends who brought this dancing manifesto in the pumping heart of Stockholm, now for the second year in a row! More details (in Swedish) found here - www.dansombudsmannen.com. Link to Forum Thread/Discussion at Tranceclubber.com here. The official number of participation varies, but it was said to be around 500-600 there dancing.
I brought a surprise micro-set to honour the moment, after a short thank-you speak. After all, Music speaks louder than Words - and Joy of Life was the greatest exclamation mark you could show in the long journey to break down barriers of public ignorance and walls of prejudice. With a Smile for a Healthy and Sustainable Lifestyle!
INTRO: Enigma - Turn Around (Northern Lights Club Mix)
Chemical Brothers - It Began In Afrika
Filterheadz - Yimanya
Simon Patterson - F16
It was a wonderful spirit that brought that jet-plane sound in F16 "over the Sergels Torg", and with the "bang" in that song I think I got catched by Mr PK's camera here in a nice series shot!
